Berryaudio Community

The Spotify app on my IOS 18 phone (with a 'premium' Spotify account) will let me change the quality of the stream. When I use 'Spotify Connect' to play the stream through Berryaudio those settings disappear, and are replaced with a screen telling me the quality setting is 'Automatic'.

When I examine what's playing through the Berryaudio web interface, it looks like a 320kbps OGG, which I'm assuming equates to Spotfy's 'Very High' quality setting. Is there any way to convince Spotify Connect to send the uncompressed stream to the Berryaudio player?

I'm kinda guessing this is out of your control, but hope springs eternal.

Hi, yes I am aware of this that's due to the availability and the dependency on open source library https://github.com/librespot-org/librespot
when they do would definitely be implemented in Berryaudio
