Wlan Pin

After installing Berryaudio :D

-Connecting to Network
-After the Pi finishes booting, it will start in AP mode.
-You should see a Wi-Fi hotspot named berryaudio. Connect to this network from your device.

and now i need a pin for login 4-8 numbers. :?:

The Wlan Passwort is: 1234567890 but on my Windows PC i can enter only 8 numbers. With my Android Phone i can use the access on the browser.

Re: Wlan Pin

Thanks for the information but you could elaborate about your windows issue with only 8 numbers ? Can you share what Windows version are you using ? So i can try to reproduce the issue on my side

Re: Wlan Pin

is there a way to force it back to AP mode? I'm using a Rpi zero which only has one interface onboard and I'd like to use it on a portable device

Re: Wlan Pin

I just checked the windows password requirements, your right it does ask for 8-13 charachters i will adjust the default AP password for the next release so it works for windows.

Re: Wlan Pin

Please update the documentation. The password was berryaudio which is still in the Getting Started document. I found another password which said it was 1234567890. I found this thread to find it was changed to 8 charceters and it is now 12345678. Wasn't hard to figure out but time a little frustrating
