Berry Audio bluetooth fails after system update

Hello all,
I can't see any posts in this forum, is it active? Are there any users?

Anyway, my issue is repeatable and I will describe it here.

I successfully installed berryaudio on my pi and then, after enabling ssh access, I proceed to update the system files. This seems to kill bluetooth access which is disappointing.

Anyone have any idea at all why this happens? I have established that bluetooth IS working on the pi just not available to berryaudio interface.

Help or advice welcomed.
